Student one's father has had a serious accident; it may prove fatal.
Student two's father may have cancer. Test results pending.
Student three's father has cancer. Maybe curable; maybe not.
So much for avoiding reality.

Here's my reality:
Wife's aunt dies of heart attack.
One month later nephew dies of throat cancer. Five weeks later my sister (nephew's mother) dies of colon cancer. Six weeks later Other sister's husband dies of heart attack and three weeks after that wife's grandmother dies Heart failure). In just a few months five deaths, five funerals. Am getting to be a pro.
I'm so sorry to hear that. I can barely imagine what you and your family must be feeling. May the rest of you live long and be healthy. You've paid your dues.
